Annual Fly Tying Marathon & Open House North Coast Fly Fishers (NCFF) is hosting its annual "Fly Tying Marathon" and Open House on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 from 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. at Lake Metroparks Penitentiary Glenn Reservation, 8868 Kirtland-Chardon Road in Kirtland, Ohio. Guests and potential new members will view dozens of fly tiers crafting many different styles of fishing flies, and have an opportunity to talk to club representatives to answer any questions you may have. A special area will be set up for Beginer Fly Tying where individuals and families will be taught buy qualified fly tying instructors to tie a fly that they can take home with them. There is no charge for attending this event, or for participating in the fly tying. All equipment and materials will be supplied by NCFF, and light refreshments will be served as well. Fly Fishing and Fly Tying are great family activities, so bring the whole family to experience this fun evening. NCFF is dedicated to providing high value fly fishing education to people of all ages, and everyone is encouraged to come out and see how much fun this can be, NCFF is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) Charter Club of the Federation of FLy Fishers (FFF), who promotes fly fishing asa the most enjoyable and sporting method of fishing.
